Every rate below is a whole-boat private charter price per night, not a per-person price, and matches the rate published on each vessel page. Charters depart from Sorong (SOQ), West Papua. Rates cover the vessel, full crew, all meals, non-alcoholic drinks, snorkeling equipment and Sorong airport transfers. Indonesian government tax of 11–12% is shown where the vessel quotes it separately.

Day-charter speedboats around Waisai and the Dampier Strait are quoted separately, from IDR 3,730,000 per day for up to 12 guests to IDR 7,525,000 per day for up to 30 guests.
Senja (2 cabins, 4 guests, from USD 5,075 per night) or Dewata (3 cabins, 6 guests, from USD 4,950 per night). Small crews, one master cabin, private deck dining. Couples who prefer a shorter first voyage often start with a four-night romantic sailing in Komodo National Park before committing to the longer Papua route.
Supraba (6 cabins, 12 guests, from USD 4,750 per night) for value, or Celestia and Mutiara Laut (7 cabins, 14–15 guests, from USD 13,500 per night) for premium comfort. All have shallow-reef anchorages at Pianemo and Arborek suited to children.
Damai 1 and Damai 2 (from USD 6,250 and USD 6,850 per night) carry dedicated dive decks and guides; Sea Safari 6 and Sea Safari 8 (from USD 4,920 per night) give dive clubs of 20–26 the lowest cost per diver. The same fleet standard applies to multi-day diving sailings in Komodo National Park.

All rates published by Komodo Luxury for Raja Ampat are for full private charter of the entire vessel, per night, including crew, all meals, non-alcoholic drinks, snorkeling gear and Sorong airport transfers. Anne Bonny, a 30 m phinisi with 3 cabins for up to 9 guests, is the entry point at USD 4,000 per night for the whole boat. For larger groups the lowest per-person cost is Sea Safari 8 — 12 cabins, up to 26 guests, USD 4,920 per night.
Seven nights is the practical minimum to see both the northern Dampier Strait and Wayag and the southern Misool region without rushing. Five nights covers the Dampier Strait alone. Ten nights allows deeper Misool coverage, and 14 nights lets you combine Raja Ampat with a Komodo crossing.
Raja Ampat has the richer reef — roughly 537 coral species and more than 1,600 reef fish species — but requires a flight to Sorong and a minimum of about seven nights. Komodo is reached from Labuan Bajo, works well in 3–4 nights, adds Komodo dragons and Padar Island, and starts from around USD 5,400 per night for luxury vessels. Komodo Luxury operates both, so the same vessel standard applies to either destination.
Excluded from every charter rate: international and domestic flights to Sorong, the Raja Ampat Marine Park Entry Permit and the Raja Ampat Regency Visitor Entry Ticket, scuba diving equipment and dive guide (optional add-on), alcoholic drinks, personal travel insurance and crew gratuities. Indonesian government tax of 11–12% applies on the vessels marked in the rate table.

Yes. The Komodo-to-Raja Ampat expedition crossing is run on the larger vessels and typically takes 12–14 nights, sailing east through the Banda Sea. It is the earliest itinerary to sell out each season, so it should be booked 6 months ahead.
Peak-season departures between November and March book 3–6 months in advance, and 2027 charter dates are already open. VVIP superyachts and the Komodo–Raja Ampat crossing sell out first; groups of 10 or more should enquire about 6 months ahead for the widest vessel choice.
The best time for a Raja Ampat luxury cruise depends on the balance you want between conditions, crowds, and price.
This is the best overall window, with generally calmer seas and underwater visibility around 20–30 meters. Manta rays are more reliably seen at famous cleaning stations such as Manta Sandy and Blue Magic, and availability is limited, so advance booking is essential.
October and April still offer mostly calm conditions with fewer boats and, in some cases, better value. April is especially attractive for photography, with lush green landscapes and softer golden light around the islands.
From May to September, winds and seas can be rougher, especially in southern Misool, while the northern Dampier Strait usually remains more sheltered and diveable. This period often brings notable discounts, greener jungle scenery, and increased chances to see Birds-of-Paradise around Waigeo Island.
